Recording & transcription consent
Every room shows clearly whether it is being recorded or transcribed — before you enter and the whole time you're inside. Changes are logged.
Microphone troubleshooting
Allow microphone access when your browser asks, pick the right input under Audio Device, and try headphones to avoid echo. Listening never needs a microphone.
Weak internet?
PEP Audio automatically lowers audio quality to stay connected on slow or unstable networks. Listen mode uses the least data.
Accessibility
Live captions, keyboard controls and screen reader support are built in. Captions can be translated into your language.
Privacy
Public rooms and their archives are public by design. Members-only and invite rooms are visible only to people with access.
